About the Event

The Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education Professional Development and the Kansas Energy Program Present: Energy & Climate Education in Manhattan, Kansas on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 1-4:30 PM CST.

Make teaching and learning fun with this multi-disciplinary, hands-on training with activities to learn about wind energy and climate. Build your own sail car to see how far it will go and then build a wind turbine and test its performance in a wind tunnel.

  • Use the environment to engage students in learning
  • Encourage critical and creative thinking
  • Receive age appropriate curriculum guides and energy tools for your classroom.
  • Giveaways including a Wind Turbine Kit

$30 per participant. Open to all 4-12 Formal and Non-Formal Educators. You'll receive grade level appropriate activity guides with hundreds of hands-on activities.
