We invite you to show your support for environmental education in our state by sponsoring Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education (KACEE) events this year. KACEE unites public agencies, teachers, community organizations, businesses, and individuals behind a common cause - teaching kids how to think, not what to think, about environmental issues through non-biased and science-based EE.
KACEE is a 501(c)3 organization with a vison to grow a healthy, vibrant and resilient Kansas through the power of environmental education. A portion of your sponsorship is tax deductible. Your sponsorship will be recognized in our promotions, reaching 1300+ people across Kansas.

By sponsoring our fundraising events, you will help offset costs, reduce registration fees, and provide scholarships for educators. Support for environmental education is vital for a healthy environment, vibrant economy, and successful communities.

Sponsor the Kansas Green Schools Investigations
Support Students & Teachers in Kansas
WHAT ARE INVESTIGATIONS?
Getting students involved in investigating their school to find ways to reduce energy use and create a healthier school environment helps to build student engagement, awareness, knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a relevant and real-world context.

Developed from the Project Learning Tree Green Schools! investigations and the National Wildlife Federation Eco-Schools USA investigations, the Kansas Green Schools of Excellence investigations provide teachers, students, parents and community members with initial investigations to begin explorations in the following areas:

Waste & Recycling
Water
Healthy School Environment
Each Investigation - Energy, Waste & Recycling, Water, Healthy Schools Environment, The Learning Community - can be sponsored. Sponsorship helps KACEE provide support and professional development to teachers, schools, and districts participating in KGS.

The Kansas Department of Health & Environment partners with KACEE as a Program Sponsor, making Project WET available to educators across the state.
The Kansas Forest Service partners with KACEE as a Program Sponsor, making Project Learning Tree available to educators across the state.
KDWP
The Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks partners with KACEE as a Program Sponsor, making Project WILD, Project WILD Aquatic, and the Leopold Education Project available to educators across the state.
Kansas Volunteer Commmission
Through a grant from the Kansas Volunteer Commission, KACEE is prod to host the Kansas eeCorps AmeriCorps program, placing service members at host sites through the state to delivery environmental education.
