Dear Environmental Education Supporter,
We invite you to show your support for environmental education in our state by sponsoring Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education (KACEE) events this year. KACEE unites public agencies, teachers, community organizations, businesses, and individuals behind a common cause - teaching kids how to think, not what to think, about environmental issues through non-biased and science-based EE.
KACEE is a 501(c)3 organization with a vison to grow a healthy, vibrant and resilient Kansas through the power of environmental education. A portion of your sponsorship is tax deductible. Your sponsorship will be recognized in our promotions, reaching 1300+ people across Kansas.
By sponsoring our fundraising events, you will help offset costs, reduce registration fees, and provide scholarships for educators. Support for environmental education is vital for a healthy environment, vibrant economy, and successful communities.

What KACEE Offers
KACEE has been providing Kansas formal and non-formal educators with high-quality, hands-on professional learning since 1975, leading the way in integrating Environmental Education into the classroom.
Professional Learning for Early Childhood Staff
KACEE offers online, asynchronous environmental education professional learning called eeCourses and eeCredentials to early childhood educators. Our offerings include nationally recognized curriculum guides with hundreds of hands-on activities from Project WET, Project WILD, Project Learning Tree, and the Leopold Education Project.
We can also come to you! In-person professional learning for your staff is available to schools across the state. We offer in-person learning opportunities in two formats:

A mini workshop is 1-3 hours and includes 3 digital classroom activities, for a flat fee of $500

A full workshop is customized for your needs. We will provide free quotes upon request, based on the number of hours (3+) you'd like, the number of curriculum guides per teacher, and more. Submit an inquiry below to get started.

NATIONALLY ACCLAIMED
Each program is nationally acclaimed and delivered through courses of 4 hours or more in duration.
SUPPLEMENTARY
The programs are interdisciplinary and designed to supplement classroom curriculum.
PRE-K THRU 12+
Course participants explore and take home an activity guide featuring ready-made lessons and activities for grades pre-K through 12 and beyond.
HANDS-ON
The activities are hands-on and focus on developing critical thinking, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
KACEE's Long-Standing Partnerships
Plains Environmental Education Partnership (PEEPs)
PEEPs is a collaboration between multiple Plains Region states, strengthening our understanding of the environmental education ‘landscape’ in the region and in Kansas. This partnership informs priorities and guides strategic investment in environmental education.
Kansas Department of Health and Environment
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is a longtime KACEE partner. They sponsor the KICK (Keep It Clean, Kansas!) Challenge, a waste-reduction competition for K-12 students with the opportunity to win a number of cash prizes for their school.
State Affiliate EE Organizations
KACEE is a state affiliate organization of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE). There are many similar state affiliate organizations, which we partner with in different capacities.

Kansas Forest Service
The Kansas Forest Service (KFS) is one of KACEE's longest-standing state agency partners — and one of the most visible. Together, we bring forest and environmental literacy to educators and students across Kansas through co-sponsored programs, professional development, and shared resources.
Kansas Volunteer Commission
The eeCorps program places AmeriCorps members at organizations throughout Kansas to focus on increasing environmental literacy for PreK-12 students and building capacity for environmental education in the region. eeCorps is led by KACEE, and funded by the Kansas Volunteer Commission.

Your support directly reduces the costs associated with organizing these events, and expands access for educators and students.

The Kansas Green Schools Program connects students to real sustainability challenges in their own buildings and communities, driving meaningful, hands-on change. Partners are recognized for supporting this high-impact, school-based work.
Sponsor the “Be the Change” KGS Leadership eeCredential
Invest in educators. Impact entire school communities. This eeCredential is a flexible online professional learning experience designed for busy teachers who want meaningful, high-quality environmental education without adding stress. This course equips educators with the tools, confidence, and support to become leaders of sustainability and positive change within their schools and districts.
