Dear Environmental Education Supporter,

We invite you to show your support for environmental education in our state by sponsoring Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education (KACEE) events this year. KACEE unites public agencies, teachers, community organizations, businesses, and individuals behind a common cause - teaching kids how to think, not what to think, about environmental issues through non-biased and science-based EE.

KACEE is a 501(c)3 organization with a vison to grow a healthy, vibrant and resilient Kansas through the power of environmental education. A portion of your sponsorship is tax deductible. Your sponsorship will be recognized in our promotions, reaching 1300+ people across Kansas.

By sponsoring our fundraising events, you will help offset costs, reduce registration fees, and provide scholarships for educators. Support for environmental education is vital for a healthy environment, vibrant economy, and successful communities.

2025 Kansas EE Conference: Environmental Education is the Answer

We invite you to submit a proposal for a concurrent session presentation and be a part of the 2025 Kansas Environmental Education Conference, taking place at the Sunflower Nonprofit Center in Topeka, Kansas on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025.

The conference offers a great opportunity to share your experience and ideas across the state! Individuals who have not presented at the Kansas Environmental Education Conference in the past are especially encouraged to submit proposals.

NOTE: If you are submitting more than one proposal, please complete a separate submission for each session proposal. You may select more than one theme for your proposal submission.

Possible Topics Include:

EE and the Anxious Generation: Outdoor learning as a strategy for improving mental health and well-being
Strategies and Student Management Techniques for Outdoor Learning
Green Schools and School Gardens: Designing and sustaining greener, healthier learning spaces
EE in Challenging Times: Stories of innovation, resilience, and hope through environmental education
Communication Strategies: Effectively sharing the benefits of environmental/outdoor learning with schools, districts, and community stakeholders
Creating Buy-In & Marketing Your Programs: Gaining support and building partnerships
The Landscape of EE: Trends, research, and the future of the field

We welcome sessions in a variety of formats—workshops (Need an example to get your started? Check out this sample interactive online workshop outline), hands-on demonstrations, open space discussions (Need some help thinking about Open Space? Here is a guideline/sample agenda to get you started), panels, and storytelling sessions. Whether you’re a seasoned presenter or sharing your work for the first time, your voice is needed.

Let’s come together to share ideas, build skills, and ignite action. Because in today’s world… Environmental Education is the Answer.
