KS Environmental Literacy Assessment

Now Available!  Environmental Literacy Assessment for Kansas Middle/High School Students!

Are you applying for Green Ribbon recognition or just interested to see how your high school students are doing?  Through a grant from the US EPA, a team in Kansas has developed an assessment appropriate for Middle and High School Students.  The assessment is focused on three outcomes from the North American Association for Environmental Education's Framework for Assessing Environmental Literacy:

  • Investigate and analyze environmental issues
  • Multiple solutions to environmental issues
  • Citizen participation and action strategies
