Kansas Green Schools Program
Through a partnership with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment , the Kansas Corporation Commission State Energy Office,and Koch Industries, Inc., the Kansas Green Schools Program was established in 2008. Through Kansas Green Schools, teachers, administrators, students and parents can:
- Network with other green schools in Kansas
- Apply for grant funding to support efforts to green your school while greening your curriculum
- Find resources for your green school efforts
- Learn about training and conference opportunities for professional development
- Apply for a designation as an official "Kansas Green School" ( COMING SOON!)
- Find local partners to work with your school on your green efforts
