April Showers to Water Towers a Water Festival for Douglas County is held each April in conjunction with the Earth Day Parade and Celebration in South Park. Information regarding watersheds, the life of a raindrop, erosion, our drinking water and non-point source pollution are presented using fun, educational activities. Participants completing all of the activities receive a backpack printed with our festival logo.
